Self Esteem

Self esteem.  Everyone has it, but some seem to have better self esteem than others.  Why is this?

Self esteem is based on our beliefs about ourselves, beliefs that are often held at a deeply subconscious level, controlling our conscious thoughts and actions without question.  Early experiences, emotionally charged or repetitive comments from others build these beliefs, but hypnotherapy offers the opportunity to confront and change these beliefs, replacing them with thoughts and ideas that allow a healthy self esteem to emerge.

All personal breakthroughs begin with a change in beliefs. So how do we change? The most effective way is to get your brain to associate massive pain to the old belief. You must feel deep in your gut that not only has this belief cost you pain in the past, but it’s costing you in the present and, ultimately, can only bring you pain in the future.
